Nancy and Kerry were married at the same church that Nancy was Christened in, and the reception room was the same exact one that held her senior prom! I always love a wedding story with some history! Nancy had reached out to me last year while living in Zambia, Africa (pretty awesome!) about their wedding day. Once they were back in the States, we created the ultimate wedding plan (with the guidance of the super talented Lisa Pleasant Events) and their wedding went off without a hitch! A HUGE thank you goes out to the wonderful Erin Kranz and Elly Stryker, who took the reigns on this one (more details below the images about that!) Check out this perfect wedding day :)

The age old question… WHAT HAPPENS IF MY PHOTOGRAPHER GETS SICK?!
YUP. I GOT SICK. The WORST thing that could happen to a wedding photographer! Erin and Elly stepped up to photograph this awesome day and I’ve done all the edits. We worked as a team, what a gift to all! I can not thank them enough for their talent and willingness to help (and all of the other photographers who were willing to help me as well!). To any future brides… ‘What would you do if your wedding photographer got sick?!’ PLEASE ask them! Because now I know first-hand that life happens! I am (thankfully) blessed to be associated with a wonderful group of photographers in Charlotte all looking out for each other AND the greater cause… happy brides and grooms! It had never happened to me in the seven years of photographing weddings, but I always knew that if it did, I felt confident that I would leave my clients with good people who matched my style of shooting (which I feel is important since couples choose a photographer for that specific reason!) Your photographer having a Plan B (and knowing how/where to get it) is a very good thing!
**Erin and Elly, you are both awesome human beings and sickly talented photographers and I KNEW that Nancy and Kerry were in good hands… thank you for the tremendous peace of mind. I am so honored to be a part of a group of professionals who truly look out for one another. So… future Charlotte brides… don’t fret! We (all) have you covered! xo
